Blur Under The Westway The Puritan

This double A side single released in 2012, was their beautiful “stand still and cry your eyes out sort of job... a classic Blur ballad” Working closely with the band via quick sketches from Damon and Graham, the double headed covers were concieved. Side A is a montage of the Westway, A40, melded with tube light trails, Side AA’s realisation is a playful play on words, complimented with a British colour pallete, a subtle reference to the Olymipcs held that year. The track was performed live by the band initially via a live twitter stream and was written for their Hyde Park shows in 2012. We also designed the lyric video below. (Need to add - Jess)
